Job description
- Nursing staff should be well dressed with hair closed, proper ID card, short nails without nail paints, etc.
- Nursing staff should follow all the hospital protocol.
- Nursing staff should be punctual for duty.
- In case of any leave, prior intimation is required. Intimation in the form of leave application will be accepted with proper HOD sign.
- To direct patient care.
- A) Staff responsible for holistic care of patient.
- B) Staff responsibility starts from Admission and discharge of patient.
- C) To maintain personal hygiene of patient including bathing, care of mouth, back care, nail care, hair bath and hygiene etc.
- D) Care of pressures points as needed.
- E) To assist the patient in elimination, feeding the weak and debilitated patient
- F) Assist in physiotherapy, ambulation and rehabilitation.
- G) Carry-out patients teaching and demonstration according to need.
- H) Care of dying and dead.
- I) Administration of medicines and injections to the patient after verifying rights of medication administration with proper counter sign from senior nurse.
- J) Observing, recording and reporting of vital signs.
